Most people assume that highly intuitive people are born with some kind of special gift.Yet, that is the furthest thing from the truth. We ALL were born with the ability to live intuitively. It may be true some people are naturally more inclined to live their lives from a place of intuitive. However, it is never to let to develop your own intuitive abilities. Intuition is like any muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets. Here are 4 simple ways that you can do daily to heighten your intuition.
1.) Meditate. I know, meditation can seem like a scary word for someone who has never meditated before. Yet, there are so many forms of meditations and with the internet they are right at our finger tips. Guided meditations are all over you-tube and you can choose shorter length meditations to begin. Yoga International states: “Meditation is a precise technique for resting the mind and attaining a state of consciousness that is totally different from the normal waking state. It is the means for fathoming all the levels of ourselves and finally experiencing the center of consciousness within.” When we meditate we are looking to integrate all of ourselves into one single moment in time. We are learning to be 100% present and learning to find peace in stillness. When our ego mind is quiet our higher mind can appear. This higher mind is where our intuition comes from. Meditation is just one way to access this higher mind.
2.) Connect with nature. Nature has so much to teach us. Nature has the ability to take away our pain, rebalance our energy, calm our nervous system, ground us and so much more! When we immerse ourselves in nature we naturally become more connected to the planet, ourselves, our brothers and sisters, all forms of life, and the deep ancient wisdom that Mama Earth holds. Nature can teach us to live in harmony on the planet and with in ourselves. She can teach us ways of living that are not taught in schools. We learn to be connected to plant and animal kingdom and to tread this world lightly. She provides infinite abundance and a humble approach to living. If we work with her consciously she will help us raise our vibration and heighten our intuitive abilities.
3.) Energetic practices. This world is pretty chaotic. Many people are energetically sensitive and are constantly allowing their energy to be trained by others. We are affected by the thoughts, feelings and energies of those around us. We are highly affected by the media and what we see in the magazines and television. All of this energy can sometimes allow us to feel fatigued, drained, fuzzy, and overwhelmed. It is important to have energetic practices that can clear all this unwanted energy. When we are aware of our own personal energy we have more clarity to hear what our intuition is telling us. Bathing yourself in gold light, placing our bare feet on the Earth, asking the angels to rebalance your energy, carrying crystals, and listening to high vibrational music are just a few ways we can reclaim our energy. 4.)Organic food. We are what we eat. Therefore, we do not want the energies of people growing our food with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc. All of these low vibrational food growing techniques can truly impact our energy, health and state of mind. If we want feel more connected to ourselves and the planet it is very important to eat organic food. It is cleaner, healthier, and digests easier. Your intuition is probably already encouraging you to make the organic switch. You will receive more clarity from making this choice and the Earth will thank you too.
